Irish Dances 1.5.5

"Irish Dances" serves as a comprehensive replacement for the traditional notebook that Irish dancers typically carry during ceili events.

The application offers detailed descriptions of every dance, including set dances, upcoming ceili dances, and two-hand dances.

Dances are presented with two levels of detail: - an abstract overview highlighting the main sections of each dance, - and detailed step-by-step instructions specifying rhythm, participant roles, movements, and durations. Where possible, video demonstrations are included for each figure.

Currently, the database features 218 dances, with 62 summarized and 37 described in detail.

As new dances are introduced, an indicator signals updates available, allowing users to refresh their database effortlessly via the settings menu.

For an engaging experience, users can click on "Just danced it !" during workshops, ceili, or demonstrations to visualize the location of Irish dancers on a global map.

If a dance isn’t yet fully detailed or if an error is identified, users are encouraged to contact us via email.

"Irish Dances" aims to expand its functionalities to better assist dancers and foster a shared appreciation for Irish dance.
